Do you have any tips for the wall textures and the map?

Well, I'm not sure I have any tips. But what I did was match the old 32 color palette that vintage comics used before digital coloring. Other than that it's flat colors and very basic coloring techniques.

some ideas you might want to juggle around with:

Different poses as they speak and do actions, let's say, character A is reading some fan (read, hate) mail, and character B is nearby, instead of having a static pose as they had 30 seconds ago, have them move into another pose, like hunching over character A as character A reads over the letter.

Alfabusa's "what if the emperor had a TTS device" and "hunter: the parenting" are what I generally mean by this.

another minor gripe I have is the audio design/audio, the clown's nose squeak everytime they walk is annoying and without a walking/step sound effect, it took me a while to realise they were walking, maybe you can combine the 2 sound effects so sharp eared viewers can decipher audio cues?

as for the characters, the clown didn't creep me out, until they hugged "Glasses" to cheer them up about his $1,000 debt, and the "of course~" made me think of 2 things, mainly a bank robbery, the other is collaborating with "glasses" on "new revenue sources", which I found quite funny writing this.

and then a cloaker looking nerd attempts to blow up the building.

so yeah.

Thanks for the feedback! To answer some things:

Yes, the characters are rather static I can agree, I'm working on making further episodes more fluent.

There IS actually a walking noise under the honking (which is intentionally irritating) but ultimately its drowned out.

Mint (the clown) shouldn't be creepy! He's a big funny guy, bit yes the "Oh Course~" was suggesting something malicious, something with the eyes 👀

Also, "Glasses" is the titular Blue Jay.
